Crystal City Plaza – Weekly Featured Project

ADI Construction removed and replaced the hardscape in Crystal City plaza near Crystal Dr. This project included waterproofing and structural repairs over the underground Crystal City shops. To create a welcome atmosphere to the outdoor space, high end LED mood lighting was installed and recessed into the paving surface. The space required phasing to keep access to the underground shops clear to allow for the shops to remain open during the construction process. Work was performed in the winter, which required tenting and intensive surface water management plans.

GWU Conference Center – Weekly Featured Project

ADI completed George Washington University’s new conference center within the four-star Four Seasons Hotel. ADI maintained an aggressive schedule while accommodating the on-going daily operations of this fully occupied established, high-end hotel. The project included a lobby, ballroom and kitchen.

RiverHouse Townhomes – Weekly Featured Project

The complete demolition of the River House lobby transformed the once dated space into a truly unique, high-end lobby for a 647-unit apartment building. ADI completed this project while the building remained fully occupied. This project included the installation of exotic veneers, imported Italian marble flooring, specialty glass and luxury lighting to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for residents to come home and enjoy.

Ben’s Chili Bowl – Weekly Featured Project

A DC Icon. Even with permit delays and a strict phasing schedule, ADI completed the project on schedule and in time for the 2009 Presidential Inauguration.

10th Street Townhomes

These three high-end town homes are located two blocks from the Washington Convention Center. The units were constructed with a masonry and precast concrete façade, 10-foot floor heights, wood and stone floors, stone countertops, stone baths, ornate balconies at two levels, on-site parking and a historic shared carriage house. The project required extensive in filling of adjacent empty lots.
