ADI wins the construction of Protech’s new state-of-the-art dental laboratory. Protech will use the latest technology, including lasers, to manufacturer crowns, dentures and other related material for the mid-Atlantic and beyond. The 8,725 sq. ft. facility in Reston, Virginia will include a dental lab and fabrication area, several training rooms, reception and offices. LED lights imported from Japan are specifically selected to ensure the color for the new dental material exactly matches the source material.

Inova Design and Construction awards ADI a negotiated contract to provide pre-construction and construction services for “Infrastructure Upgrades” at Inova’s new Telestar facility. The property includes two 4-story buildings joined by a common atrium. Preliminary estimates value the contract at approximately $3 million. ADI will work with Inova to establish and maintain accurate budget projections, as well as define a final scope of work. The work includes replacing (5) main air handlers, (291) fan coil units, a new HVAC control system and a new fire alarm system. There will be extensive elevator modifications, interior and exterior reconfigurations and new carpet and paint. Two floors will remain occupied.
ABOUT INOVA – Inova Health Systems is a not-for-profit health care provider with services in the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC. Their services include acute care, long-term care, home health care, mental health, research and satellite family practice and emergency services. ADI completed the demolition and reconstruction of this new full floor headquarters consisting of 15,714 square feet in Reston, VA. Finishes included carpet accents, wood flooring, stepped drywall ceilings, specialty lighting, solid surfaces, 3-Form partitions and back-lit three dimensional “Ultra Glass”. The LAN/Data component included cable trays, large LAN Room, 100 KW generator, concrete pad, ATS, conduits from ground to 5th floor, forty-six “Smart” UPS units (one at each desktop), a primary 50 KVA UPS, supplemental ac, perimeter security access, control and monitoring.
