In the heart of Washington, DC, ADI completed the construction of a high-end restaurant, two full floors, for a renowned chef. Features of this space include exposed brick walls, installation of a high-tech kitchen, sliding barn doors, and specialty stone for the bar. To keep the quiet, romantic atmosphere, fireplaces grace the waiting areas, along with the installation of drop pendant lights, and recessed lighting to keep the soft glow throughout the space. The storefront to this restaurant was renovated while keeping up with the requirements for the historical designation to this building.
Fado’s uses custom millwork to create the look and feel of an antique Irish pub. The handcrafted wood was imported from Ireland as a touch of authenticity. The pub is nationally recognized for its atmosphere, and is a destination for many fun-lovers.
ADI Construction built this new single story retail strip shopping center, including utilities paving and site work. The center boasts several signature architectural features, including an intricate clock tower.
This project consisted of a complete renovation to Top Golf’s Signature Room that is used to host corporate events within the facility. This project was completed under a tight schedule while Top Golf remained open and occupied. This space features a 9 foot wide walnut laminate running the length of the room and along the wall – floor to ceiling. The remaining walls feature multi-color stainless reveals to add color and contrast to the space.
ADI completed the demolition and build-out of an existing coffee shop and transformed the space into a new pizza shop in Crystal City. This project was challenging due to an aggressive schedule coordinated down to the hour and a lack of interior space. The new build-out included new gas utilities, installation of 2 Capitive-Aire pizza hoods, marble service countertops, sneeze guards and new millwork. The floor was finished in a four-phase stain process, which resulted in a marble-like finish with stars scattered throughout. The exterior façade facing the mall was completed in a thin brick, which was painted and then stenciled with the logo.
Unlike any other within the Crystal City Shops, ADI constructed a unique storefront for TechShop. The design utilized an acoustically rated glazing system, steel c-channels, high-end Moz panels and batten strips. In addition to the storefront, ADI performed the landlord work in preparation for TechShop – extensive concrete and tile demolition, coupled with over 10,000 sf of Ardex installation. Throughout this process, ADI worked concurrently with TechShop’s general contractor, navigating through unforeseen conditions, tight schedules and changing designs to deliver the store and storefront on time.

ADI converted the old Crystal City Bike Shop into a modern and sleek new wine shop. This renovation transforms the space into a sleek, updated retail amenity for the area. This shop is owned by the Washington Wine Academy, an education center in Arlington. This new shop is nestled into the already established, growing residential community. To complete this transformation, ADI created a more open layout, upgraded the lighting to highlight their products, and used accent colors and warm tones to create a welcoming environment.
